Chief Steeping Officer, Shannon, of The Valley Alchemist is the heart and soul of this local business. With a fervent love for tea, and a whole lot of imagination, Shannon started blending teas for her own enjoyment and later started sharing her creations, eventually growing into her own brand, The Valley Alchemist.  

Shannon believes that tea is far more complex than leaves soaking in hot water. It’s an experience, sometimes of calmness, of fun, or even of healing. In an effort of sustainability, The Valley Alchemist uses single-layer packaging and offers 100% compostable and biodegradable infuser bags.
